The Story of Houses of Eden

It all began with babies, a nursery playdate & a dream

|HOUSES OF EDEN

As two breastfeeding, stay-at-home moms, we became more aware of what we were bringing into our homes and using every day. When Sam’s daughter developed an allergy to canola oil, it pushed us to take a closer look at the products we trusted.

What we found was frustrating—long ingredient lists, unnecessary fillers, and a lack of true transparency. Even “clean” products felt confusing and overly complicated.

Sitting on the nursery floor with our babies beside us, it became clear: if we couldn’t find what we were looking for, we would create it ourselves.

Within two days, everything began to take shape. Ingredients were researched, our first formula was created, and our website went live—all while our babies played beside us.

It didn’t feel forced. It felt led.

As women of faith, we felt called into this—into a space we never expected but one we were meant to step into.

Houses of Eden was built in response to the lack of transparency, overcomplicated formulas, and products that didn’t align with how we wanted to live—or give people with allergies the clarity they deserve.

Every product is handcrafted in small batches using carefully selected ingredients. We choose simplicity, intention, and full transparency—always.

Houses of Eden is more than skincare and haircare. It’s a return to what matters most, and a more intentional way of living.
